CONSULT A PHYSICIAN Maine law requires for Patients to have a "bona fide" Patient-Physician relationship and to have a Physician provide Written Certification regarding a patients Debilitating condition.

CONSULT AN ATTORNEY CCM encourages all questions pertaining to the legal ramifications of medical marijuana use or any legal questions regarding the current State and Federal regulations, to consult with a licensed attorney. You should not act upon this information without careful consideration and retaining an attorney to review interpret and apply the law to your circumstances. Federal law holds that medical marijuana under state law is not a defense to federal law. Federal law on the books hold that even one plant or one sale of marijuana up to 100 lbs is a felony, with a 5 year and $250,000 penalty yet recent decisions appear to affirm state law (US Supreme court recently declined to rehear State vs Kha decision and the San Diego vs NORML case). – source Attorney Stewart Richlin (www.420lawoffice.com)
